So, I'm beginning to really miss the feedback I was used to on deviantART, and I'm thinking that I'm going to start putting the rewritten chapters on dA. Honestly, I feel like a lot of people who watch me aren't subcribed to my journals or something, because it's not even close tot the same amount of feedback.
I know the plagiarism will be bad, but I've never had trouble getting stolen stories taken down (thanks to all of you guys). So, thanks for that, seriously, and I'm gonna need your help to continue keeping my story on here or at the very least shared fairly (i.e. people giving credit).
Now, only thing left is finally fucking naming it. I've been bouncing around a couple: A World of Gray, A Ray of Light, or some combination of those two... Basically, I want the title to either reflect Carmela's life without Liina, or what Liina is to her. You're welcome to suggest a title. In fact, PLEASE SUGGEST A TITLE. I have never had this much trouble titling something. It's been three years, and I got nothing.
Love you all, thanks for sticking with me. Please continue to stick with me as I go back through this transition! Seriously, if not for my fans, this story would've stopped at part two and I would have never put my heart into it like I did and turned it into what there is today.

I've been a little, uh, I dunno, disillusioned with writing lately. Nothing seems to come out right, and all my stories seem like crap. I know, I swore that I'd never go this long without an update, and I'm sorry, but it's been... A weird year.
But logging on to see 1000+ deviation messages and 300+ journals, I figure I'll have to start doing something.
I've also been really disappointed in the lack of feedback I've gotten from the rewrites. Ugh. I don't wanna sound whiny, but it really irritates me. Everyone wanted me to do more and more, but only a handful have given me feedback. How am I supposed to improve if I never know what anyone wa

Sorry for the inactivity
Busy, busy holidays for me, haha. Moved, and am starting school the sixth. So... It's gonna be busy. Let's see... I have a chapter due to y'all this month. I wanted to do a little Christmas chapter but you know, shit happens. Maybe I'll still write one, but you know, it's not gonna be in time Christmas, obviously.
I'm also a bit disheartened by the lack of response to posting my story back on dA. I thought it might be as popular as it used to be, but it's not even close. Oh well. I mean, I'm not writing for other people anyway, I'm writing for myself. I just wish I had the feedback I used to.

Honestly, I wouldn't put anything updated past the first chapter. I haven't taken that chance myself. I know that if you do end up publishing it, I will try to buy a copy just to support you. As for a title, how about "That Way"? It works on two levels: one is Liina coming to terms with the fact that she is, as she puts it, *that way* and finding happiness and fulfillment in embracing it, and on the other is Carmela's being at a crossroads between letting her tough life make some of the same mistakes her mother made, and aspiring for more for Liina's sake and her own.
